Botox injections only take a few minutes and require no anesthesia. Botox is injected into problem area’s specific muscles. Overall it may take from 3 to 7 days for the injection to take full effect and it is recommended to avoid the use of alcohol at least a week prior to treatment. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should be stopped two weeks prior to the treatment to reduce bruising. Botox treatment’s effects last between four to six months. As muscle action slowly returns, the wrinkles and lines begin to re-appear again.

Breast Reconstruction

This 12 minute video goes over the many types of reconstruction, including expander alone reconstruction, back flap reconstruction and TRAM flap reconstruction. It discusses the symmetry procedures such as breast lifts, breast augmentations and nipple reconstruction.

Juvederm Injections

These treatments are used to restore the fresh, glowing, and youthful look of the skin. This procedure could also contribute to the improvement of sun-damage and aging skin. Frown lines, crow’s feet, nasolabial folds and smile lines are among the issues that can be improved by this procedure. Collagen is the main protein found in connective tissue within the human body. It helps support the skin, bone, teeth, cartilage, and blood vessels.

Collagen’s purpose in the skin is to protect and maintain its integrity. Collagen in the body breaks down as we age, resulting in the loss of elasticity and wrinkles. Collagen injections can replenish the skin’s natural collagen contour. There may be some bruising and swelling after the treatment, this should clear up within 48 hours.

Breast Reduction

Oversize breasts can cause physical discomfort such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder grooving from bra straps and rashes underneath the breasts are common.  

Oversized breasts can also draw unwanted attention and comments while making clothes shopping a nightmare for many women. If you have ever endowed any of these problems, you may be a good candidate for breast reduction.

Aging Eyes

Blepharoplasty commonly known as eyelid surgery can remove the excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper eyelids. This procedure can improve upon the folds of sagging skin that disturbs the natural contour of the eyes and sometimes may result in impairing vision. Excess skin and wrinkles of the lower eyelids can be corrected in this procedure, reducing baggy look and feel. Men and women who have healthy facial tissue and muscles, are physically healthy, and are non smokers are a good candidate for this procedure.

Lipoplasty commonly known as liposuction slims and reshapes specific parts of the body by removing excess fat deposits, improving the body’s shape and contour, resulting in an improved self-esteem in many patients. Liposuction surgery is used in treating stubborn fat deposits in different parts of the body such as: arms, ankles, calves, thighs, hips, waist, back, inner knee, chest, cheeks, chin, and neck. This procedure is not a weight loss option, nor is it a treatment for obesity. Patients in physical health, non smoker whom have stubborn fat deposits are good candidates for this procedure.

Face Lift

The face can portray signs of aging before any other body parts. Gravity and the natural loss of elasticity in the skin can both contribute to signs of aging. Rhytidectomy also known as facelift is a surgical procedure in order to improve signs of aging of the face and neck. If you are experiencing sagging in the midface, deep creases below the lower eyelids, fat that has fallen or is displaced, loss of elasticity, loose skin under the chin and jaw, you may be a good candidate for this surgery.

Over the years face lift procedures have evolved from simple skin lifting to more complex deeper tissue lifting techniques. Usually incision sites are made in front of and behind the ear. The incisions may extend into the scalp. Liposuction of the neck and jowls may be appropriate for some patients. The end result is to restore a more youthful contour of the face.

Abdominoplasty commonly known as Tummy Tuck is a surgical procedure which excess fat and skin is removed from the middle and lower abdomen in order to create a smoother and firmer profile.

Most common causes of abdominal sagging are pregnancy, aging, significant fluctuations in weight, heredity, and prior surgeries. Patients who are physically healthy and at a stable weight, do not smoke, and who have realistic expectation are good candidates for this procedure.

Chemical Peel

Obagi Blue Peel is a procedure that leads to the removal of thin layer of aged and damaged skin. Through the exfoliation process using low concentration of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) mixed with special blue base to slow down penetration, dead skin cells are replaced by healthier ones. Patients with blemishes, acne scars, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage are usually good candidates for this procedure. Depending on the number of coats used, the procedure’s time can vary.

Patients often experience a burning sensation that lasts for several minutes. Immediately after the procedure a bluish tint will remain on the skin which may last between 12 to 24 hours. After the procedure some swelling is expected and the affected skin area peels for 2 to 3 days. Complete healing is expected between 7 to 10 days.

Laser Resurfacing

Laser resurfacing is the technique used to reduce the signs of sun damage to the skin, pigmentation and signs of aging. During the procedure thin layers of the affected areas of the skin are gently removed, while stimulating the growth of new skin cells. This procedure not only improves aging lines on the skin, it also helps tighten and improve the contour of the skin resulting in a more youthful appearance.
